Algumas palavrinhas/expressões úteis na área médica:
Ele foi internado ontem
He was admitted (in)to the hospital/hospitalized yesterday.

Ele terá alta amanhã.
He will be discharged tomorrow.

Ele está na UTI.
He's in the ICU (intensive care unit).

Ele ficou 2 horas no centro cirúrgico.
He stayed 2 hours in the OR (operating room)/operating theatre (para os britânicos).

Ele levou dois pontos.
He received 2 stitches
